Because I feel that communication and sharing among Chemistry teachers are two of the most vital roles of our organization, I am starting a monthly web-based newsletter. I'm calling it the mini-reACTant and you will receive notice of a new issue by email. Some of the content will be repeated in your printed newsletter; however the content will vary and the web-based format will provide more opportunities to include pictures and weblinks. I also hope to use this online format as a tool for more teachers to share teaching tips, demos, and classroom activities and labs. From time to time I may toss out a topic and ask for responses from the membership so that we can all benefit from the great body of experience and knowledge within our membership. Since this will certainly be a work in progress, I welcome all comments and suggestions.
