The Socorro ISD Transportation Department will provide bus transportation for all students who live outside a two-mile radius from Montwood High School. Please be sure to provide your mailing address and identify the Socorro ISD school closest to your home on the application/contract. This information will be used by the Transportation Department to construct a bus route to transport students to Montwood High School. Parents will be notified by the Transportation Department of the bus schedule that applies to their student.
At student registration at Montwood High School for the new school year, the student and/or parent needs to make sure that their Montwood student ID identifies the student as a "bus rider". This designation on the student ID ensures that the student can get on the bus to be transported to and from school.
