Austin Nature & Science Center Field Experience
Birds of Prey

Time: 2 hours
Students will observe the unique hunting adaptations in live raptors. Students will tour the Birds of Prey exhibit and will discuss the characteristics of these magnificent diurnal and nocturnal birds. Austin Nature and Science Center personnel will provide students with an opportunity to observe a hawk on the glove up close and personal. A feeding demonstration is included when possible.
