Students explore the legend and details of the LaBelle shipwreck and record details of the shipwreck discovery. Then, the information will be used to facilitate a problem-based learning sediment analysis investigation.

Play Dough Mountains familiarizes students in the use and interpretation of topographic maps.
Comparing Topographic and Bathymetric Maps
Students will observe and analyze the two different maps, conduct research and give presentations on the different techniques used to collect depth data.
