How Wet is Our Planet?
Time: Two or three 50-minute class periods
Source: Adapted from Project WILD Aquatic
Prior to an ecological study at McKinney Falls, students should understand and appreciate water as a limited, non-renewable resource. This activity will engage students in an inquiry to determine the amount and distribution of water on our home planet, then make inferences about the importance of responsible water use.
