Book early. They fill up fast.

Cost: $3 per student for a 1 hour program or $6 per student for a 2 hour program.

• Factor in the distance and time to get there – it is located on Hwy. 71 and is 13 miles east of Austin-Bergstrom Airport.

• Lunch – bring your coolers with drinks and lunches. You can eat your lunch in the courtyard or find another shady spot that you like.

• Don’t miss the River Trip! Many students have never been on a boat and never been on the Colorado River. This will make a lasting impression on them.

• If you have time, the Challenge Courses are wonderful team building and personally motivating exercises. Be sure to inquire about them.

• This is a great place for an overnight and they are set up to handle middle-schoolers — the doors on the dorms are alarmed at night. The only glitch is that it is $75 per student per night (3 programs, 3 meals and stay in dorms). Start that fundraising!

• Bring water bottles/canteens. Be aware that you can’t take cups and a cooler down to the river.

• Ask for Nick — one of the guides. He dresses up like an early explorer and is a true naturalist — he can do the most amazing frog calls! Your students will love it!
