STAT Summer Workshops

STAT is excited to partner with the Science Mill in Johnson City, Texas, to provide this one-day continuing education opportunity:

Unlocking Inquiry in Your 3–8 Classroom: A Hands-on Approach to Engineering, Coding, and AI

Bring curiosity to life and take your STEM instruction to the next level. In this hands-on, full-day PD, grades 3–8 science educators will explore the Engineering Design Process through inquiry-driven activities using micro:bit. Whether you're just getting started with coding or ready to go deeper, this session meets you where you are.

Explore classroom-ready lessons covering real problem solving, coding, and real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence, with content scaffolded for both elementary and middle school classrooms.

You'll leave with ready-to-use lesson plans, practical strategies, and everything you need to bring this work back to your classroom right away.

Includes micro:bit kit, digital and print resources, lunch, snacks, and a free tour of the Science Mill.
